From its 1882, founding by a handful of men from a small, predominantly Irish Catholic parish in New Haven, Connecticut, the Knights of Columbus has grown to an international brotherhood of nearly 2 million men spread throughout the world. Formed by Father Michael J. McGivney, from its earliest days Knights of Columbus make the case that one could be both a good Catholic and a good citizen.
Members of the Knights of Columbus are dedicated to leading by faith, defending Catholic values, and supporting one another, while also contributing to their parishes, their communities, their countries, and the world. This has been accomplished through over $1.6 Billion in donations and 75 Million volunteer hours of service.
As members of Holy Cross Council 12141, we Knights of Columbus serve the poor, sick, elderly, and disadvantaged members of our community through our charitable efforts, while fulfilling our responsibilities as Catholic citizens by conducting ourselves with integrity, kindness, respect, hospitality, and civility.
Council 12141 holds a Monthly Business Meeting on the second Monday of each month in the Parish Hall at 7:00 pm. Men who wish to join, or simply want more information, are welcome to share snacks and refreshments with us at 6:00 and to say the Rosary at 6:30.
