The opportunity for this age group is to discuss areas of importance to them and seek a deeper understanding of their role as Disciples of Christ. They meet in a less structured setting, on Wednesday evenings 7:15-8:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall; with guest speakers on various topics, and we encourage our youth to be involved through church-sponsored community service projects. We schedule fundraising activities to support these projects by selling poinsettias in Advent for Christmas and Easter lilies on Palm Sunday for the Easter season. We schedule Game Nights and involvement with other community service agencies. The service project will be here in Indian River County, the site will be disclosed at a later date. You will arrive at the site by 8:00 am finish work at Noon, lunch will be served from Noon to 1:00 p.m. this will be a time to eat and share with others involved with the project. High School teens will be dismissed at 1:00 pm and picked up at the service site (in the past St. Helen’s would be the arrival and dismissal unfortunately due to COVID-19 we are unable to transport the high school teens to and from the service sites.)
