Congratulations, we welcome new members to our Catholic Community.
Requesting the Sacrament of Baptism for a child birth up to age seven involves a serious obligation and a faith commitment on the part of both parents. To prepare both parents for this commitment, they will be requested to participate in a Parent Baptism Catechesis, prior to the scheduling of an infant Baptism.
Parents are encouraged to begin this preparation prior to the birth of their child.

Scheduling the Baptism
- Parents are kindly asked to contact the Parish Office in advance to schedule the celebration of the Sacrament. The following requirements must be fulfilled in preparation for this sacred Sacrament.
Parental Requirements
- At least one parent must be Catholic and committed to raising the child in the faith.
- Parents will be required to attend a Baptism preparation class, unless they have previously attended a class at Holy Cross. Parents must be registered and actively participating in the parish for at least 6 months prior to scheduling a baptism.
